PUBLIC FORUM ON BAR MATTER NO. 2012

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines conducted a Public Forum on Bar Matter No. 2012 to clarify and hear inputs, comments and suggestions from the members of the Bar (practicing lawyers). It was attended by lawyers from different places in the Philippines, IBP chapter presidents; officers and members from IBP’s nine regions; and officers & members of Phil. Bar Association.

The resource speakers were Dean Cesar L. Villanueva, College of Law, Ateneo de Manila University; Professor E. (Leo) D. Battad, College of Law, UP; Dean Amado Valdez, College of Law, UE; Atty. Jose Manuel I. Diokno, Chairman, Free Legal Assistance Group (FLAG); Atty. Romualdo A. Din, Jr., Past President IBP III Manila Chapter & Phil. Trial Lawyer’s Association; Atty. Tranquil Gervacio S. Salvador III, President, IBP Quezon City Chapter, Atty. Earl M. Bonachita, Director, IBP Cebu City Chapter and Atty. Marven B. Daquilanea, President, IBP Iloilo Chapter.

	National Secretary Tomas N. Prado leads the invocation. Governor for Southern Luzon Amador Z. Tolentino, Jr. leads the singing of Philippine National Anthem and IBP March.
